חָרֵד

חָרֵד(b. h.) to be excited, to tremble. Gen. R. s. 67 (ref. to מאד, Gen. 27:33) מחרדה שח׳וכ׳ more than the trembling which he felt on the altar; (Yalk. ib. 115 שהֶחֱרִיד). Tanḥ.
